Our Company History

Bearicuda, Inc was founded by Kevin Lacilla as part of a 20 plus year old company that helped companies solve spill control challenges in the workplace. The original company began its first operations in 1986 and broke off its Bear Proof Container line in 2008. The company was Inspired by Kevin Lacilla’s loving labrador, Chaz, Kevin Lacilla states "He would come to work with me on a daily basis, and not only became the company mascot but he became a loyal friend to employees and customers”

After a lot of hard work, long hours, establishing a more diverse product line and listening to the demands of the marketplace the company began to grow. Establishing relationships with manufacturers of products that people were looking for to keep their workplace clean, safe and in compliance, the Bearicuda name began to be recognized in the industry for it's high quality products, affordable prices and exceptional service when it came to bear proofing cans..
